I am Mark DeBord LCSW (Lic 1947 in Louisiana). I have been providing behavioral health services for over 40 years. I am trained in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (a cognitive behavioral treatment model). My practice is limited to those 18 and older. I do individual and couple counseling and work in a collaborative fashion. Predominant presentations that I see are depression, anxiety and relationship disorders. Services are by appointment only.
Depression, anxiety and relationship issues are the predominant presentations with which I work. As stated, I approach therapy collaboratively and together we work to assist you in realizing the goals that you set.
I have always been interested in what prompts people to do what they do, including myself! I latched onto Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy early on as I was able to relate to the philosophical origins and was able to apply the theory to my own management of emotions and behavior.
