My name is Mark Branscum and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with clients statewide in Oklahoma via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety/stress, trauma (including religious trauma) and men’s issues utilizing approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT, among others.
The foundation for everything I do is client-centered with the understanding that you are the expert on yourself. Like most therapists, my approach is eclectic and I have training and experience with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT.
My communication style is calm, compassionate and empathetic. I believe that it's important to create an atmosphere where my clients are comfortable talking about anything without judgment.
