About
With 28 years of experience, I am a seasoned therapist with a multitude of practical experiences within both public and private fields of behavioral health. I have been instrumental in the delivery of therapeutic services to some of the most clinically complicated cases. This includes work with children, adolescents, adults and disrupted couples and families. However, my expertise is also relevant to those experiencing transitional difficulties of life, relational problems within marriage and family, and/or those seeking a therapeutic confidante to work through life's personal dilemmas. I work with adults, adolescents and children in individual, couples, families and group psychotherapy.
Personally, I am a Vietnam Era Veteran and enjoy working with the veterans returning from Iraq, Afghanistan, and other hot spots, and the matured Vietnam Vets. I work with Veterans experiencing PTSD or other transitional issues. I am also a survivor of cancer and work with those who are at any stage of the process.
For the past 15 years, I have attended Southeast Institute in Chapel Hill, NC. This training combines cognitive, behavioral, and affective techniques to develop both depth and breadth in mastering effective psychotherapeutic techniques. Please feel free to contact me. I am happy to work with you and answer any questions you may have.
