I am welcoming new clients who are looking for help with life transitions, grief and loss, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, or traumatic experiences. I currently have the capacity to serve older teens and adults via telehealth using a wide range of evidenced-based techniques and approaches. Whether this is your first time in therapy or not I believe in equipping you with knowledge and tools to use throughout your life to overcome behavioral and emotional barriers. If you are unsure of your goals or ideal outcomes, we collaborate to outline what you hope to change, improve, and accomplish and use outcome metrics to measure progress.
I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. My approach is patient and calm to allow space for contemplation and natural progress, instead of forcing change. To assist in a wide range of challenges I incorporate trauma-informed and mindfulness practices. I am trained in TF-CBT, EMDR, and am EAGALA certified.
After serving in the US Army, I earned my Bachelor's then Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential care, and outpatient settings. I'm in this with you and invested in your growth and wellness. My personality is laid back and informal, as I try not to take myself too seriously.
