About
Thank you for taking the time today to review my profile. Beginning the process of psychotherapy can feel like a daunting one. Your ability to feel comfortable and at ease with a therapist can only help you to address difficult or painful parts of your life. My patients tell me that they often feel safe and "at home" when they are working with me. I enjoy working with folks who have been suffering from depression, trauma, loss, and substance abuse. Please feel free to call me to talk about scheduling an appointment.
I have experience working with medical illness, bereavement and loss, childhood trauma, and substance abuse. I enjoy working with sexual identity and relationship issues, as well as how depression affects self-esteem and relationships.
I have 13 years of experience providing psychotherapy to a diverse group of patients. The number of settings in which I have worked include: college counseling, inpatient and outpatient medical facilities, and outpatient mental health clinics. Since completing my graduate degree, I have obtained additional training in child and adolescent psychotherapy, and in comparative psychoanalysis.
