About
A good life begins on the inside. I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship involving caring support, humor and spontaneity to gain self awareness, improve interpersonal relationships, increase coping skills, understand emotional patterns and enhance self esteem; empowering you to transform your life so that you can emerge a stronger, healthier person.
My approach to psychotherapy is flexible and eclectic. Common areas of focus include managing difficult emotions: fear, anger, and sadness; addressing symptoms of anxiety and depression, learning healthy techniques for coping with stress, and increasing attention to develop a peaceful interior life.
Specialty areas include: Trauma, grief, development of adjustment strategies for difficult transitions, divorce, shame and anger management. I work with both men and women ages 18 and older.
