Marjorie (Marge) Rubin is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1999 from Immaculata University and has been working as a therapist for more than 20 years in outpatient as well as in partial hospital settings. Prior to studying psychology, Marge was a teacher of Special Education and Middle School students and she brings this experience and expertise into her work; especially with children, adolescents, and parents. Marge advocates a person-centered, humanistic approach to therapy and is a certified Gestalt Therapist.
She believes that a trusting, honest, and collaborative relationship between the client and the therapist is at the core of treatment success.
Marge incorporates elements of Play Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, DBT, Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing into her work and tailors each session to best meet the client's unique needs that day. Marge enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, being outdoors, reading, and watching the Eagles.
