Hello, I am Maritza! Are you looking for a purpose or a sense of direction in your life? Perhaps feeling overwhelmed by your emotions and feeling as if you are unable to make decisions? Therapy can benefit and serve as a powerful strategy to learn tailored tools to help you navigate your emotions and put you back on track. As you may know, life has a way of presenting people with challenges they could have possibly not imagined would have to face. This can lead to anxiety, depression, grief, and ultimately a life transition. I believe that finding our purpose for life, can help us get through our lives.
I specialized in grief and loss, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Clients who work with me are willing to practice mindfulness and meditation as a tool to their progress.
I enjoy meeting each client where they are at, and together exploring what they enjoy in life to build on their strengths and empower individual mental health wellness. Whatever it is you are dealing with in your life right now, you do not have to go through it alone. I would like to help you.
