Upon retirement from public education in 2010, I embraced the opportunity to open a faith-based Christian counseling practice. It is a humbling experience to develop a counseling relationship with many different people from varied backgrounds. My heart's desire is to provide support and hope for families dealing with relational issues, marital, parenting and life changing events. Counseling services are offered to adults, adolescents, and children focused on emotional, mental, physical and spiritual aspects. Clients are provided an opportunity for faith-based, christian perspective with biblical principals for hope & healing!

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist that has been in practice for 37 years and in that time I have developed an eclectic approach to working with many issues. I consider myself flexible and accommodating as it pertains to the individual needs of my clients because I work within their system of values and beliefs. I have a working knowledge of many different mental health issues but I am more likely than not to refer someone with a Drug and Alcohol Addiction to a colleague.

I love working with teenagers and helping to guide them through the difficult journey to adulthood. I also have a passion for LGBTQIA, working with all ages and lifestyles within that community. I work with the whole family in my private practice - individual, couples & family therapy. I love what I do and feel strongly about promoting and helping families develop healthy relationships and individuals to become strong and confident. As a Licensed Marital & Family Therapist I feel I have a lot to offer couples who wish to improve their relationship: Communication & conflict resolution skills; reconnecting and developing a closer relationship, etc. I also do premarital counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I assist with strategies to deal with anxiety, depression, stress, loss and grief, life transitions and more.
