For many of us, taking those first steps towards greater health can be a challenge. This is especially true when it comes to our mental and emotional wellbeing. I commend you on taking these initial and pivotal movements. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Prior to obtaining my license I served as a music therapist (MT-BC) in a variety of settings for ten years. I have had the pleasure of assisting those with numerous needs and strengths including children and adults with special needs, youth in the community, psychiatric, and educational settings, adults with severe mental illness.

Hayley Roverana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Hayley has 4 years of experience working with adolescents and adults seeking help for anxiety, depression, domestic violence, substance use disorders, and other issues. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from East Stroudsburg University and her Masters of Science in Social Work from Marywood University.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that each human person has an innate wholeness and the resilience to heal. “Why Now”? and “What has happened”? are the ways my first session begins with a new patient. This patient is ready to begin their story. A favorite story I often reference in my work, filled with metaphors and twists and turns, is The Wizard of Oz. At the end of the story Dorothy discovers that she has always had the power to return home to Kansas. However, the power was hidden from her and she did not know how to access or utilize it. I am not the helpful Glinda, but I do collaboratively assist my patients to define and achieve their goals by optimizing their hidden strengths and skills.

I appreciate the courage it takes to seek help. As your therapist I will strive to have your therapeutic journey feel respectful, safe, and collaborative. I specialize in couples counseling and adolescent issues, however additional areas of skill include those struggling with loneliness, introversion, those seeking meaningful relationships, and with men’s issues. I collaborate best with clients that are motivated to work on making healthy changes in their lives.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and received my Master's degree in Social Work from Millersville University in 2009.  I have been providing group, individual, and family therapy for ten years and have a passion for helping people to reach their desired goals.  I utilize a strengths based approach and view therapy as a collaborative relationship in which the person is able to explore and learn more about themselves.

Brandon Ballantyne is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression. He is board certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors. Brandon has advanced credentials in the area of treatment planning and ethical decision making. He received a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Alvernia University in 2011. He has been featured in Counseling Today for his development of CBT related therapy interventions and exercises.

I believe that every person has a story. To tell that story and be deeply heard by a compassionate, supportive person, with no judgment, is the main work of therapy. Within my work with individuals, we build a relationship of trust, consistency, and commitment, while exploring roots and doing problem-solving together. I use a similar approach with couples and families, hearing each story of the individual, couple or family unit. I look at how these individuals have come together to form important ties with one another, and together we explore ways to create positive change within their relationships.

Lynsey holds the belief that change is fundamental to who we are as human beings, and sometimes the changes we need to make are difficult and overwhelming. She also believes that we inherently have the answers to our questions locked inside ourselves, and sometimes we need therapeutic support to reach them. As a clinician, Lynsey’s role is to help you develop more awareness into your insights; utilizing your strengths to help you become the best version of yourself. Dr. Pitkow earned her Master’s Degree and her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. She has a diverse background having worked with outpatient, inpatient, substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations. In addition to working in the field for close to 20 years, Dr. Pitkow brings essential life experiences to the work. Dr. Pitkow believes that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship established between the client and the therapist, without which very little is accomplished. To that end she aims to create a safe and warm environment where the relationship can develop.

I feel that all clients have a choice in their treatment and should have access to an array of techniques to address their needs. I also think is is important that clients find a therapist that is a good "fit" for them. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based techniques in my work. I also believe in the importance of taking care of your physical health in conjunction with mental health. I help to identify triggers to symptoms as well as creating healthier coping strategies and boundaries.

Kimberly Woodling is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who utilizes insight and emotion-oriented approaches to assist patients experiencing various psychological and social challenges. Kim believes that breakthroughs and enhancements to overall relational, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive functioning will occur as a person increases their self-awareness, and acquaints themselves with their full range emotions, contradictory feelings, interpersonal patterns, and defenses. She helps her patients scratch beneath their surface to explore unmet expectations, and unproductive patterns of behavior that keep them stuck and unsatisfied. Kim views the therapeutic process as a personal "journey" and places a strong emphasis on developing a trusting relationship with her patients, which she deems as vital to growth and symptom reduction. Kim believes in every person’s ability to live successful, fulfilling lives. Her sessions are laid back, relaxed, and she can assist patients in finding the humor or silver lining in difficult situations. She is passionate about empowering individuals, and helping them recognize their own strengths and abilities to cope with stress and challenges.
