I’m a Professional Counselor helping caregivers and adult children navigate the challenges of aging family members so that they foster resilience and enhance quality of life for both generations. I help clients navigate a broken system for the aging population, learn how to honor loved ones with dignity, and protect their own well-being along the way. The ins-and-outs of aging loved ones and their desires are unique to each situation and family, but having an ally to walk alongside you to help your family to stay intact and healthy through it all is priceless. It is possible to get to the end of it and have no regret.
Any therapy with me focuses on interpersonal relationships. And with aging family the relationship matters. The process of aging and dying is difficult on families, period. The caregivers are often forgotten in the process and just assumed to be okay. My focus is to support and process through the difficulty in order to live without regret.
Whether you find yourself dealing with the difficulties of an aging loved one or navigating end-of-life issues yourself, I can help. As an older-population therapist I offer specialized care tailored to your specific needs. My approach is collaborative and focused on where you are, so that you can get to where you and your family wants to go.
