I provide mindful, compassionate, and strengths-based counseling support intended to arouse empowerment in those who seek to find hope through healing. I believe a strong therapeutic alliance and personal motivation are the most powerful agents for change, growth, healing, and self-improvement. I strive to meet my clients wherever they may be in their lives, providing clinical tools to assist them in achieving their identified treatment goals. I focus on maintaining a safe space physically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually where clients feel comfortable facing their challenges and exploring their heartfelt desires.
My preferred areas of practice and treatment specialization include: depression; anxiety; self-worth; parenting; LGBTQIA+; interpersonal relationships; mood management; trauma/abuse; family dynamics; adjustment/transition; and grief/loss. I work with those of all races, abilities, identities, and genders as well as individuals, couples, and families.
My focus is on the development of a strong therapeutic alliance, as I believe that by fostering a trusting relationship, personal growth is achieved and emotional awareness is obtained. I'm invested in empowering clients by way of providing validation, compassion, emotional support, empathy, and psychoeducation. I am an ally who provides affirming care.
