Hi, I’m Marissa, a licensed master social worker with nearly a decade of experience helping individuals heal from trauma, manage anxiety, and navigate life’s difficult transitions.
I have dedicated a significant portion of my career to working with survivors of sexual trauma and physical abuse, and I understand the unique challenges they face. My goal is to support survivors in regaining a sense of control, self-worth, and healing through personalized therapeutic strategies and a trauma-sensitive approach.
My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based practices, with a primary focus on EMDR and play-based strategies. I strive to meet you where you're at and work together to explore solutions that will help you to move forward with confidence. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults.
During our sessions, you can expect a safe, inclusive space where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings. We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and I’ll offer support, guidance, and practical tools.
If you are looking for a safe space to work through your pain, regain your strength, and reclaim your sense of self, I am here to help.
