About
I have worked with children and adolescents with special needs and behavioral problems, adults and couples with relationship concerns, and individuals who have experienced anxiety, stress, anger, depression, and other life stressors. I have witnessed my clients build self-confidence and self-esteem, create boundaries in personal and professional relationships, and overcome the hurdles associated with experiencing depression, anxiety, and stress.
The therapeutic relationship is most important. I strive to build trust and openness during sessions. My approach to counseling includes an eclectic approach that incorporates a variety of modalities including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and reality/choice theory.
I believe that there are solutions to life’s problems, and it is possible to find those solutions with a little help. I believe that we all have the ability to make changes in our lives, and that we all have the choice about whether or not to make changes. Making this decision is often difficult, and I am here to help you work through that decision.
