Like most of my clients I have my own share of childhood trauma. I’ve had to deconstruct childhood messages of not being good enough. I’ve had to learn to set boundaries and learn that I’m not required to put others' needs above my own. I’ve had to learn that I will be loved at the end of the day even if the people I care about are upset with me. The very path that many of you are starting out on, I have walked myself. I’ve worked hard to reclaim my own story, now I want to help you reclaim yours.
I specialize in helping those with anxiety and trauma, both in individual and couples counseling. Using the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parts work, and EMDR approaches I help client's find ways to ease the sharp edges of relationships and life. I help find ways to navigate difficulties in life and move with ease and grace.
I work to approach therapy as a journey we take together, where I am a guide helping you toward your chosen destination. I like to use humor, playful sarcasm, and just enough of “tell it like it is” to help you reach your personal summits. I will challenge you to stretch your comfort zones. I will also sometimes be the kick in the pants you need.

Trauma and Transitions Women's processing group
Transitioning to college and then to adult life is difficult. Doing so when you struggle with a trauma background is even harder. This group will be a safe place to talk about the difficulties and get helpful feedback and support. This group is for women 18-28. Contact me to get on the waiting list! Next group starts Early Feb.
