I provide relational somatic therapy for adults, kids & teens. Therapy with me is integrative, including woven layers of modalities designed with your specific needs in mind. Our work is a collaboration with your mind, body, and soul. Non-judgement. Warmth. Active conversations and appropriate humor. Integrative therapy works successfully to treat mental health issues, emotional distress, and trauma triggers, and is great for kids/teens through art-therapy, body-awareness, and non-directive play. Psychotherapy, to me, is personal, political, & social. It takes courage, strength, and hope to live into who you really are.

My focus is in somatics, social justice, and trauma. Somatics allows us to acknowledge that our experiences are lived through the body, including fight/flight response. Healing is most effective when consciousness (talk) is integrated with unconscious wisdom that the body holds. EMDR can successfully reduce distress from traumatic experiences.

Social justice broadens the therapeutic perspective to include how you are impacted by y(our) social world. I am committed to anti-racist, relational, feminist, pro-LGBT, anti-oppression, sex-positive frameworks. Specialization in working with queer/lesbian women and transfolks. non-monogamy welcomed.
