I am a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in California. I have had the honor and opportunity throughout this work to collaborate with and support young children, teens, families, and adults. Through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches, I work towards creating a space with my clients to address experiences, whether it be issues related to relationships, family, school, work, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, stress and other life experiences that impact our well-being.
Through work and collaboration, I aim to support, encourage, and assist my clients in moving towards progress - whatever that may look like! My approach to therapy tends to be person-centered, however, there’s lots of room to be dynamic and flexible as I understand all clients are different and vary in needs and hopes.
It is no secret that as therapists we are often seen as the experts, however, I am not the expert on my clients’ lives – they are. My clients are encouraged to share not just their experiences, but also how they have come to understand themselves, others, and the world around them.
