Hello! I'm Marisol Guerra-Garza! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting clients through various life occurrences, changes, and stressors. I enjoy working with Adults and Adolescents and have over 10 years of experience working in various therapeutic settings, which include treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, lack of motivation, low self-esteem, life/career changes, and unhealthy coping mechanisms.
My counseling approach is person-centered, and solution focused. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, as everyone has their story to tell. Our sessions will be personalized to meet your treatment goals and objectives.
My counseling style is pretty laid-back and casual. I have been described as compassionate, open-minded, and a good listener with a pretty good sense of humor. I try and help clients focus on their strengths and help them use those strengths to overcome life's obstacles.
