It is my belief there is no crisis or concern too insurmountable or insignificant where the presence of a supportive therapeutic relationship cannot be beneficial. Seeking counseling is the first step on the path toward gaining insight, meaning and healing. I support clients to understand and shift emotions, thoughts and behaviors that may be causing suffering and impairing healthy functioning. I am humbled to walk alongside you on your path to healing. I counsel adults who have struggles with relationships, depression, anxiety, alcohol or drugs, communication, life transitions, family dynamics, anger, stress, and trauma.
My approach is primarily CBT, Mindfulness and Humanism based. I have special training and experience in the following areas: Addictions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brainspotting and Mindful Self Compassion. A typical session includes processing life events, exploring areas of concern and developing skills to manage in a healthy way.
