Not accepting new clients
It is my belief there is no crisis or concern too insurmountable or insignificant where the presence of a supportive therapeutic relationship cannot be beneficial. Seeking counseling is the first step on the path toward gaining insight, meaning and healing. I support clients in understanding emotions, thoughts and behaviors that may be causing suffering and impairing healthy functioning. I am humbled to walk alongside you on your path to healing. I counsel adults who have struggles with relationships, depression, anxiety, alcohol or drugs, life transitions, difficult family dynamics, effective communication, anger, stress, and PTSD.
My approach is primarily Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness and Humanism based. I have specific and extensive training in the following areas: Addictions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindful Self Compassion.
Unhealthy effects of the dysfunctional systems we live and work in have us feeling disconnected. You are not alone in feeling discontented, overwhelmed and/or lonely. It is my goal to provide a relaxed, compassionate and nonjudgmental environment to explore these struggles and any adjustments that can be made to alleviate suffering.
