Everybody has a story, moments of darkness and light, that they carry with them wherever they go. A therapist is someone who has the honor of holding these stories along with their clients so their load may become a little lighter. I invest warmth, curiosity, humor, and non-judgmental care into learning my clients’ stories and helping to put all the pieces into place. I utilize strength-based humanistic approaches that empower clients to author their own narrative.
I enjoy working with Internal Family Systems, CBT, and mindfulness. I offer tangible practices so clients can walk away with tools and the confidence to use them. I will support you in accessing your emotions in your body, getting playfully curious about yourself, and learning to trust your own intuition and inner wisdom.
There is no problem too big or too small the right therapist cannot help you tackle. It can be vulnerable to sit with a stranger and divulge parts of yourself that feel uncomfortable.
