Marisa is mindfulness-based psychotherapist who works to provide a safe, collaborative, and affirming space centered around each client's needs. Marisa takes great care to create a nonjudgemental space where clients can learn, grow, and discover a valued life. Marisa’s style is empathic, warm, and collaborative and she puts her clients quickly at ease with her authentic style.
Marisa uses CBT, DBT, ACT, FAP. Using this integrative approach Marisa has worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Marisa has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and A.M. from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration where she also completed a post-master’s fellowship in FAP, ACT, DBT.
