Young adults and working professionals, especially those working in healthcare and related fields, as well as college students. Over the years, I have tailored my practice towards those who take care of others, put others first, or put their future first. When I previously rounded on medical floors, I noticed that every hospital patient had one thing in common - they generally put themselves and their current needs last in their daily lives. I like to help people seek balance, and I love working with people who are interested in self-discovery, psychology, and navigating life's many stressors.
I am a bit of a "psychology nerd," and I do a lot of research and reading, as well as attending seminars and therapist meet-ups, but I keep knowledge in my back pocket and let therapy sessions revolve around you. I have been told that I blend key concepts and coping skills into what seems like casual conversation.
The feedback I receive most often can be boiled down to "laid back but effective." I let you take things at your own pace and I am extremely non-judgmental. During our first session. I will ask questions to see how I can best help you, but I will also give you space to say anything you need to say.
