Life can be very challenging and demanding at times and can often leave us feeling confused, lonely, depressed, and anxious. I believe that addressing our mental health and emotional well being is as important as taking care of our physical health. My first approach to therapy is building a rapport to gain a better understanding to the needs and goals of the individual. We will work as a team to achieve a healthier mental and emotional well being by addressing life's challenges.
I am a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing compassionate, empathetic and culturally competent counseling services. I have extensive knowledge in addiction disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders and trauma (EMDR). I believe in a strength based approach that is holistic and guided by the individual needs of the person.
I strive to provide a warm and welcoming safe space in all of my sessions. This is accomplished through an empathetic and judgement free space. My goal is for everyone to leave each session feeling more empowered and optimistic about life.
In addition, our office also provides DWI evaluations, immigration evaluations and EMDR treatment.
