I have extensive experience in the field of mental health. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who treats individual adults, children of all ages, and families. In addition, I am a NYS Certified School Psychologist, and perform psycho-educational evaluations. I am fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. Additional education and training includes Forensic Psychology pertaining to Family Court, Criminal Court and Immigration related issues.
Treatment modality is typically Cognitive and Interpersonal in nature. However, I believe that treatment modalities need to be tailored to the client's clinical needs and personality. Other conventional forms of treatment may be incorporated. Overall, "Integrative Psychotherapy" would be most descriptive of treatment methods.
I play acoustic guitar, very much interested in the arts, and sciences.
