About
Deciding to pursue psychotherapy is an important and personal decision. There are various reasons for which someone may pursue psychotherapy, whether it is to cope with current life stressors or to seek support in managing ongoing concerns. Regardless of your reason for pursuing therapy, you should not feel alone in the process and I look forward to working with you on meeting your goals. I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) licensed clinical psychologist who works with children/adolescents, families and young adults, using an integrative approach and tailoring my work to each person's unique story.
I have a wide range of experience, including anxiety, OCD, ASD, trauma, family substance use, grief/loss, and more. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and utilize this approach when working with trauma. In my work with children/adolescents, I consider their developmental stage and use different interventions to support their work.
Finding the right fit with a therapist can also be overwhelming, therefore I am happy to discuss what you are looking for by phone, to determine if it will be a good fit. Please feel free to call or email me to set up a phone consult. I am also a Catholic Christian Therapist, and upon your request, I can integrate spiritual support into our work.
