About
*Ofrezco terapia bilingue, en espanol y en ingles.* I offer bilingual therapy, in Spanish and/or English. I believe a sense of trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship is necessary in order to facilitate the change we want to see in our lives. To work towards this goal in my therapeutic relationships, I work from a feminist multicultural framework. I believe the client is the expert on their own experiences. I use collaborative, relational, and strength-based therapy to facilitate a genuine and honest therapeutic relationship that can promote insight and adaptive change.
I have experience working with culturally diverse populations, and a specialty focus on Latino/Hispanic populations. I believe our cultural context plays a significant role in shaping our experiences and our identities. Exploring the impact of our environments in therapy can facilitate insight and can reframe the way we think about ourselves within our contexts.
I also offer immigration evaluations for individuals engaging in the legal immigration process. *Yo tengo experiencia trabajando con adultos, y en particular con los adultos jovenes, estudiantes en el colegio, y adolescentes entre las edades 18-19.
