I work a variety of clients, including those who identify within the LGBTQ+ and/or fall under the transgender umbrella. I also find passion in helping those struggling with trauma/PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder. I am currently working with adolescents (12 and older) and adults. For me, the most important part of counseling is the therapeutic relationship. I work hard to create a safe space for my clients to feel heard, accepted, and valued.
My approach to therapy is personal; utilizing an "eclectic" approach (using different therapeutic interventions based on needs), we will explore your needs and set goals accordingly. I utilize an empathetic person-centered approach, while also offering dialectical behavioral therapy skills. I also utilize CBT, Gestalt, and IFS approaches.
