My approach is integrative and holistic, combining evidence-based psychological methods with body-based and mindfulness practices. I help clients process trauma, difficult emotions, and life stressors by working with both the mind and body. My work includes Brainspotting for trauma processing, support in accepting difficult thoughts and emotions, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to shift unhelpful thinking patterns. My approach is collaborative. Therapy works best when we combine my clinical training with your knowledge of your own experiences.
I also incorporate somatic and nervous system–based practices such as breathwork, mindfulness, bilateral or binaural sound techniques, and gentle movement. I work from the understanding that the body holds memory and that breath, movement, and sensation can help regulate the nervous system and reach places that language alone sometimes cannot.
When appropriate, my work also explores deeper questions of meaning, consciousness, and personal growth. I emphasize nonjudgmental awareness and emotional balance, and strive to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients can reconnect with their inner strengths and move toward greater well-being.
