I enjoy working with teens, young adults, families, and anyone looking to gain new understanding in their lives. Although taking the first step in getting support can be difficult, it opens up the opportunity for change and empowerment. I like to help each individual identify their strengths and develop a better understanding of how they relate to others.
For the last 15 years I have been working with teens and families to provide stability, understanding, and functional ways of getting along. In supporting teens to have a voice and helping each family member express their point of view, the whole unit improves.
I worked in K-12 schools for five years, in addition to working with teens in the juvenile justice system, and families dealing with trauma and abuse. I also have experience working with people (all ages) who are simultaneously seeking medication support, but want to pursue talk therapy as well.
