Adolescence can get complicated...therapy shouldn't be. As a licensed psychologist, I offer treatment exclusively for teens navigating anxiety, depression, social issues, ADHD and self-harm, in the East Bay area (Walnut Creek). With over 15 years experience as a school psychologist, my strengths-based approach is grounded in evidence-based strategies to guide teens to build skills to apply to real-life situations. When something shifts (increased withdrawal, irritability, overwhelm) it is often a signal worth understanding. It is my great privilege to have depth and breadth of experience with a large number of adolescents, with a variety of presenting issues. I use solution-based and cognitive-behavioral therapy, making positive and lasting improvement in home, school, and social functioning, while equipping school-based professionals and caregivers to support positive change.
