I believe health and happiness flourish when people experience safety and connection in the present, feel their feelings, question their thoughts, take care of their bodies, continuously learn about their environment, and trust their power and/or a Higher Power to create a life that mirrors the Love that they are.
Accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP) inspires my work. In addition to methods from AEDP, I incorporate somatic approaches, skills and concepts from dialectical behavior therapy, Buddhist teachings, and concepts from life coaching, particularly Calling in "the One" coaching.
We are not wired to process overwhelming emotions alone, nor can we become conscious of sub-conscious thoughts in a vaccum. When we have wise, non-judgmental, emotionally attuned, skillful people in our lives who see our potential, we become more able to express the Love, Truth, Wisdom, Power, and Beauty that we are.
