I can be helpful if you’re stuck in frustrating repetitive cycles, creative/relationship blocks or trying to manage unforeseen life challenges and transitions. Conflicts in our values, duties, hopes or self ideals can cause ongoing stress. Therapy provides a confidential place to explore and disentangle those conflicting feelings, illuminate our blind spots, and allows us to see options and try new approaches. I have helped clients to reduce anxiety and depressive patterns such as worry, worst-case scenario thinking, perfectionism, guilt/shame & self-criticism.
I have been described as warm, authentic and direct, with a supportive, no-nonsense approach. Therapy sessions are conversational with feedback, a touch of humor, and an engaged curiosity. I have 20+ years of clinical experience helping people become more self-aware, confident and emotionally connected to themselves and others.
