I create developmentally appropriate, customized treatment plans using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies, art and play therapy interventions.
I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults who struggle with emotional dysregulation. I help clients experiencing ADHD/ executive functioning issues, self-harm, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, family changes and behavior issues.
I provide neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ affirming care. I have extensive experience supporting kids who have disabilities and their families. I also provide parent coaching to help you connect with your child and SPACE therapy an evidence based parenting treatment to treat a child’s anxiety and OCD. Grief group for adolescents
8 week grief support group for adolescents focused on the grieving process and ways to cope. This grief group will focus on: • Learning about the grieving process and common reactions to loss. • Understanding their reactions and learning strategies to cope with their grief. • Gaining insight to what they need when experiencing grief reactions and how to ask for what they need • Sharing memories with others who are also grieving. • Learning about self-acceptance, self-care, self-compassion and resilience. • Handling the holidays and special occasions without your loved one.
