If you are feeling depressed, anxious, not Enjoying life, I would like to help you feel better. I am a licensed psychotherapist with years of experience. I have a general practice. Special areas of interest are depression, including people who are having suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, anxiety and issues of grief and loss. I can see people virtually or at my office in Glenview Il I work best with people who are motivated for help and who understand therapy is a process that may take time.
I am trained in several kinds of therapy. Psychodynamic ( looking back at issues from our childhood) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy often called CBT. This method can help you learn to spot errors in how you think about some things and learn to view things in different ways. I tailor treatment to the individual. I See individuals and couples.
Clients have described me as warm, and perceptive. I really like being a therapist and helping people. I have a sense of humor and use it when appropriate.
