I am committed to helping people create and sustain a satisfying, purposeful life. With the intention of moving toward a greater sense of overall well-being, I enjoy working with clients around life transitions, career and identity exploration, navigating and managing complex life circumstances and stresses (particularly related to marginalized identities), and concerns related to career/work. With 25 years of experience as a therapist, I offer an active, collaborative working relationship grounded in respect, transparency, and a deep desire to help clients heal and grow.
Clients have remarked that I am particularly skilled in helping them navigate and grow through difficulties and life transitions. I help them take ownership for and develop ways of coping and responding to stress that honors their multiple, intersecting identities and values, while empowering them to stretch, consider, and apply new perspectives and skills.
I have extensive professional training and experience with mindfulness and integrate that into my therapeutic work. Beyond therapy, I provide Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses and mindfulness training for individuals and groups. Please feel free to contact me to see if working together is the best next step for you.
