Taking the first step to begin therapy can feel vulnerable, and sharing painful feelings and experiences is an act of great trust. I help my clients become aware of patterns and dynamics in relationships, life choices, and sense of self, along with the emotions and beliefs that underlie them, so they can choose new paths that more closely match their values. I offer an accepting, warm, and honest therapeutic relationship, through which you may gain a sense of confidence, self-compassion, and growth that helps you feel more comfortable and capable in your life.
I also provide play and talk therapy for children ages 3-12 to support self-expression, self-awareness, and confidence in navigating anxiety, life changes, and big feelings and responses, with a special interest in highly sensitive and neurodivergent kids. In parent consultations, I provide personalized feedback on parenting strategies for your unique child.
Although our therapeutic work together will reflect your unique needs, my training is grounded in psychodynamic, mindfulness/self-compassion, parts work, and social justice perspectives.
