My practice is focused primarily on working with young adults. I am particularly gratified by watching young women find their true identity and recognize their own capacity for love and strength. I have training and experience in treating trauma/PTSD, depression, self-harm, parent-child relationship issues, anxiety, perfectionism, substance abuse, sexual reactivity, life transitions, emotional abuse and low self-esteem.
I use an eclectic approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy and attachment theory. Each of us have beliefs and experiences that impact our ability to form meaningful relationships, accomplish goals, or even love ourselves. The therapeutic process is designed to emphasize beliefs that are helpful and challenge those that are damaging.
My hope is to create a safe space where I can be a guide, a support and a witness to the healing my clients find for themselves.
