I value building on your resiliency to facilitate growth towards your personal goals. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Specifically, I focus on treating trauma and am a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) therapist. I strive to help individuals who struggle with trauma symptoms by providing trauma informed care. Also, as a clinician who values working with children with behavioral difficulties, I provide quality Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to restore the parent-child relationship for children 2-7 years old.
As a parent of a toddler, I also wrestle with the highs and lows of raising a strong child. Daily I refer back to my PCIT skills, based in decades of behavioral research, to provide positive praise, clear directions, and firm boundaries. I aim to provide parents in similar situations with evidence-based methods to enhance the parent-child relationship.
Collaboration in treatment is key. I aim to provide a non-judgmental, warm, empathic environment to create a safe space for you and your family. Through a trauma-informed and diversity lens, I apply evidence-based interventions to all aspects of your treatment to meet your goals. I would be honored to take part in your journey.
