My clients are usually exhausted before they reach out. Some of the most damaging relationships involve a partner who is smart, accomplished, or charming, traits that make the manipulation harder to see and harder to explain. These traits show up differently from person to person, and what you're dealing with is real.
I bring nearly two decades of forensic and clinical experience with psychopathic, narcissistic, and antisocial personalities, including doctoral research on these dynamics in both men and women. My approach is direct and irreverent, not soft-focus self-help. I'll tell you the hard thing plainly, because it's usually more useful than comfort.
