She obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University and worked many years in the business world During which time she earned her Masters in Business Administration. In 2010, she returned to school and earned her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has also worked extensively with individuals recovering from addiction as well as loved ones who are affected by addiction.
