I get to hand out hope for a living! I work with a wide variety of people with interpersonal difficulties and relational issues. I have extensive experience with young adults in the areas of depressive disorders, identity issues and managing life's milestones. I also work with those maneuvering the milestones of retirement and other life changes. My treatment approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and change long-standing patterns that have proven self-defeating. With sensitivity and compassion, I am a straightforward communicator who helps clients find solutions and make changes.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys educating, assisting and empowering people to achieve their goals and overcome their obstacles. Along with various eclectic ways of providing therapy I am trained in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy through EAGALA where horses are utilized in the process of recovery.
I am respectful of the spiritual beliefs of individual clients and integrate sound biblical principles in therapy when it is sought. I am also comfortable discussing issues of spiritual abuse, confusion, and difficulty if it is needed on the path to someone's optimal health and wholeness.
