Life is amazing, but it can also be messy and painful. I work with individuals, adolescents or adults, who are in stressful situations, feel anxious, or are making a life change. For some this may be a rough patch that they need help navigating. For others, something larger may be disrupting their lives. My specialty is helping people who have had a traumatic event or are dealing with anxiety.
I take a holistic approach intertwining physical health and mental wellbeing. My therapeutic style is based on acceptance and commitment therapy. This is a mindful based modality that can enable us to make better choices to live the life we want to live, not the life we feel stuck living.
I am also a Pilates instructor with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience ranging from working with Olympic athletes to the terminally ill. In addition, I hold a Master's degree in Theology. My studies coupled with my experience allows me to offer a unique approach to counseling.
