My approach to counseling is from a Biblical perspective, and I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems as my primary methods. While my therapeutic strategies are unique to each client, my focus lies in creating an open, accepting, honest, safe & trusting environment for transformative growth to occur.
My experience includes addressing mental health issues with children, adults & families. I've worked in community clinics and with the court system; and witnessed many people overcome histories of abuse, destructive behaviors and damaged relationships--and embrace a life of significance and strength.
