Offering both individual and family therapy, I’ve spent 25 years in the field passionately guiding adults, teens, and children (as young as 5) along their journey to wellness. I particularly love incorporating creative modalities including the use of sand trays, puppet play, games, and other crafts. These are all powerful tools to help teach kids essential skills in concrete ways. When working with youth, parents most often become a critical part of treatment planning, actively participating in skills building activities with the child in treatment. My work with adults often involves parent support and/or individual counseling.
Oriented toward both Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I believe that they key to meaningful and lasting progress is to not only focus on eliminating symptoms, but to also help clients develop a strong and sustainable sense of wellness. My work with you will introduce elements of both emotional support and active skills building.
