Hi there. I am Maribeth. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I love to work with individuals who want to improve relationships, personal issues, and overall outlook on life. I often work with people who struggle with depression, anxiety and loneliness. In my work, I strive to empower clients with tools, resources, and support. I work with individuals and families who are going through life transitions, relationships/communication issues, addiction issues, depression and anxiety. I like to work with individuals who are motivated to make a change in their lives and has potential to see a better outcome for themselves.
I strive to make therapy a safe place for them to process their emotions and reactions to difficult changes in their lives. I use a variety of modalities working with a diverse clientele depending on their individual needs including crisis interventions, CBT and DBT, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy and strengths-based interventions.
I have a collaborative approach when it comes to goal setting with clients. We focus on no more than 2-3 goals. I utilize the S.M.A.R.T. approach to help my clients set the goals they want to achieve.
