Marianne Cook

I specialize in working with high-achieving professionals, college and graduate students, and university faculty. Using evidence-based techniques, I help clients cope with anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, perfectionism, self-criticism, impostor syndrome, and procrastination. I also support them in building healthy friendships and partnerships, exploring identity issues, adjusting to new situations and life phases, and figuring out their personal and professional paths. I am based in Cambridge MA and licensed across MA, NY, DC, and CT.

I integrate a variety of approaches into my work, including insight-oriented, mindfulness-based, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I empower my clients to tap into their inner strengths and resources. I am specially trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, and I am also a mindfulness coach.

I've spent the past two decades helping clients manage stress, navigate difficult circumstances, and find more peace and balance in their lives.
