My name is Marianna Aguilar, and I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist 139892. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients learn how to improve their daily functioning and overall quality of life. I enjoy working with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families. My areas of focus are trauma, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and everyday life stressors.
I utilize various therapeutic approaches but mainly draw upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows us to identify faulty/unhelpful ways of thinking, learning patterns/unhelpful behavior and helps clients create and utilize positive coping skills.
I'm very passionate about creating a safe, accepting, and nonjudgmental space for clients to reflect, heal, and grow. Working with me feels like talking with someone you can trust and who will help you focus on your needs and goals.
