Through an empathic, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic approach, I will focus on helping you understand what is getting in the way of you feeling more fulfilled in life. I have ample experience and enjoy working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and career concerns.

I specialize in relationship and couples concerns, as well as multicultural and LGBTQ issues. I completed the Couples Therapy Training Program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis. I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at The George Washington University and worked several years for the Georgetown University's Counseling Center.

I work mainly from a psychodynamic perspective; my focus is on helping you understand your current symptoms and concerns by examining both current and early life experiences and problematic relationship patterns. I believe insight gained through this process can allow you to make healthier choices and improve the quality of your life.
