Welcome! My name is Mariana Diaz, and I am a Registered AMFT. I am currently under the supervision of Ah Hyun Lee, LCSW. I utilize MI, CBT, ACT, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care. I am in training for EMDR until April 2025 as well. I have worked for both inpatient and outpatient programs treating substance use, co-occurring disorders, PTSD and CPTSD.
I identify as a Hispanic and Pacific Islander therapist who understands the impact of cultural issues, discrimination and mental health stigma. I work hard to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable to share their hardships on their own terms. I realize that it may have taken a lot of time and contemplation to seek out services.
