My experience has been working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, suicidal ideation, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, and dysfunctional coping skills including self-harming behaviors. Therapy is tailored to the individual using best practices.
Therapies include DBT, CBT, and behavioral therapy with the frequent focus on mindfulness and positive lifestyle choices as well as learning positive coping skills.
Help is provided in a supportive, non-judgmental environment to learn new coping strategies and purpose and to engage in activities that bring happiness and a sense of worth. Clients are able to work through difficult transitions, feelings of hopelessness, low self-esteem and feeling defeated.
